Grand La Velas Cabo San Lucas

Well, I had been wanting/waiting to get to this resort to check it out, and i have to say, it DID NOT disappoint.

If you are looking for a high end/top of the line all inclusive property, less than 2 hours flying from San Diego, this is it.  From the hotel rooms that oooz quality, to the restaurant choices, yes a Michelin star restaurant is one of your options and included, the awesome cocktails and snacks by the pool, you are never going to want to leave here, and the guests they attended and stayed with you for your destination wedding are going to be talking about this one for a long time.

Champagne and neck massages on arrival, your butler showing you to your room, views to die for, whales swimming by, you won’t want to leave, but we can sure set up some awesome experiences outside of the property.

I was supposed to be at their Puerta Vallarta property last weekend but due to coronavirus did not get to go, can’t wait to head there and compare the experiences.  if its as good as they tell me, then its going to be fabulousssssssss too

Here is a secret, the property next door has the same owner, soooooo, you can have some events there if you want to mix it up a bit, for guests that can not afford or prefer to not stay here they can stay there and you can cover any guests coming in for the event for a fee which is awesome.

Cabo Secret Gem

Well let me tell you, if you are looking to have anywhere from 60-100 guests, where some are singles, some are friends, some are couples/families, this is the hotel for you to have your destination wedding at.  You can buy it out based on that size and it will be like you are all staying in a wonderful Spanish or even Greek feeling village.  You can do all the pre and post events here and wedding elsewhere, or vice versa, or do it all here.

The details every where you look, imagine your wedding photos here!

The lawn can be where you have your ceremony, or do it on the sand right there and then go to the lawn for cocktails, or around the pool for cocktails and do the dinner on the grass.  Imagine fireworks right on the beach there as your grand finale!!

This tiled area is above the pool/restaurant area and you can do dinner/dancing here with the amazing views up and down the coastline, and of course if you are doing a buy out you can use the restaurant area for anything you want also.

If not looking to buy out, aok, a few rooms/guests and we can still have a wonderful destination wedding here, and there is no reason for your guests to stay elsewhere due to budget, when I was there just before xmas 2019 you could have stayed here for under $200 a night!!!

Montage Cabo wedding

I was fortunate to enjoy Montage Cabo last July, what an awesome property.  Set in a lovely sheltered bay with a lovely beach, so very swimmable which along the rest of the part of the coastline it is touch n go as to whether you can go into the ocean, and awesome pools, food/service etc, this is a top pick for a fabulous Cabo wedding.  The cabanas by the lower pool/sand close is where I spent my time, very spoilt.

This lawn is where your ceremony could be if you don’t want a sand ceremony and its large enough to do ceremony one end, cocktails in the middle and dinner/dancing at the other end, as well as restaurant space or other areas we can do the reception at.

This is the entrance/lobby frontage.  Located along the corridor, again guests can stay here or elsewhere and attend the wedding and get a cab or uber to/from easily.  I can help you pull the wedding together and my travel partner can handle everyone’s air/hotel/transport and group excursions pre and post we do.  Let’s do it!!

Las Ventanas Cabo Destination wedding

What a beautiful Mexican in an elegant way resort.  Beach to pools, ceremony sites with beach/ocean backdrop to on the sand/ocean backdrop, and plenty of cool places to have wedding receptions, this property needs to be one you consider for sure.

Yes this is an outdoor shower from one of the huge suites with private pool and butler service, amazingggggg!!

Viceroy Cabo Destination Wedding

Well the Viceroy Cabo is everything you expect and more, cool/hip/modern/clean

The rooms are fab, some are even water level, and there are lots of cool spaces to have get togethers/receptions and wedding ceremonies.

Lovely beach area, pools, fabulous spa, excellent food and drinks.  Set along the corridor it is very central for either Cabo or San Jose del Cabo, so great for a Destination Wedding where all can stay at the wedding hotel or come to it, and also for excursions from.  Let me help you pull your wedding together and my travel partner will arrange everyone’s air/hotel/transport and the awesome group excursions for pre/post wedding.

Nobu Cabo

Esperanza Resort Cabo wedding

I had definitely heard of this resort but not been before, so in December got to have a night tour and a lovely dinner which ended with the weekly fireworks show from the beach below our dining table, pic of beach below just not the fireworks!! lol

The Resort did not disappoint, some wonderful ceremony/reception wedding spaces and the accommodations are really lovely, have a very comfortable Mexican feel to them but upscale, if that makes any sense.

Chileno Bay Resort Cabo

Ok, I was on a very exclusive fam trip (when a location has a group of travel or wedding or other peeps come and see their resorts/hotels/area in the hope we bring them business in future) with just 4 of us (normally its anywhere from 10-30) to Cabo just before Christmas 2019, and before i got there i thought it would be the same crew I normally see, so was very surprised to find I knew none of these awesome women, and 3 of them are from LA.  So now new friendships are made and new learnings, you always learn something from others.

You will notice these pics are really good, lol, and that is because my phone had died and we were never in a spot long enough for me to charge it up and be able to use it, so i had to ask Sally Pine Photo to take specific pics and get them to me and she did, xoxox

The timing for the fam was a bit off, the week before xmas and i had been out of the country for 3 weeks from November until then, so really didn’t have time, but once i got there I realized immediately it’s always worth the effort for the value/knowledge you get out of these things that make ME more valuable to YOU in the long run.

I had never heard of this resort (which after 8 trips or so to Cabo was suprising to me), so it was all new to me and pretty fabulous.  The accommodations are 2-3-4 bedroom spectacular condos with kitchens/living space that you would not want to leave and the resort is really cool/awesome.  You can have your destination wedding on the grounds, sand, pre/post parties etc, there is a theatre and games room, beautiful 3 level pool and the service/food is amazing.

Again, centrally located along the corridor so trips into Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo area restaurants/town for excursions or guests coming to the wedding from other resorts, is all easy.

One and Only Pamilla Cabo San Lucas

I had been here on a previous trip during the day, so i knew how things looked, but this trip was for dinner and at night, so…… I did get a great tour but not much to photograph, lol

Lots of banquet space and restaurant areas you can use for your destination wedding here.  Lots of pools to enjoy and did you know they have a real chapel there you can have your wedding at??  An incredible resort to stay at, as many celebrities do, and have your Cabo destination wedding at.

JW Marriott Cabo wedding

If you are looking for a grand large resort in Cabo to have your wedding celebration at, then this could be it for you.  The JW is spread out and has many beautiful pools/areas with the beautiful ocean backdrop.  Excellent service and style and the food is amazing.

Located at the San Jose Del Cabo end of the area, you can enjoy walking around the old town of San Jose, enjoy some of the famous restaurants close to this area, or take a cab into Cabo San Lucas (about 30 minute drive) to enjoy the noise/craziness up there, then come back to your sanctuary of peace and quiet. Beautiful hotel rooms and amenities .
