Sandals Bahamas

I have been to the Bahamas around 10 times, and spent two of those trips right here at Sandals, minutes from downtown Nassau.  Its a lovely property with a private island, where i spend most of my time, reading/hanging out/relaxing/swimming/massaging!

Can you see why i like the private island, the pics above from the boat to here are all there, no one in sight, so calm

This was the view from my last room, above and below, looking at the pool for the action and then pivot to the right and it was all ocean looking over to the private island

On my last trip i did a duo, spent some time in Nassau and then flew to Exuma and spent time at the Sandals there, so relaxing and the water is amazing.  If you are a golfer, this is a bucket list trip as you are playing right along the ocean so spectacular views while playing and of course a Jack Nicolas course

With certain butler rooms at Sandals Nassau/Royal, you get picked up at the airport and taken back in a Bentley or fancy Mercedes, that’s the way to arrive in style and not be too sad about leaving, right!

Southcoast Sandals/Jamaica

I first visited this resort right as it was opening, and loved it.  Quiet/spread out, all rooms have a view of the water!!  Had not been back, so it was long overdue.

The first overwater bar Sandals had and a great spot to have a drink it was!!  And one of the signature large Sandals pools, it was nearly empty every time i enjoyed it.

I was there as they were breaking ground for the overwaters, very exciting. If you are looking for calm/relaxing and more beach than you could use, this is the resort for you!

Sandals Grenada

This is the newest addition to the Sandals Family.  I had missed a couple of fam trips but got to go with my husband end of 2018 and was really pleased I got to experience a vacation there with him, not working, lol.  this was the view from our 2 level suite, looking down on the pool from the swim out rooms, across the resort to that beautiful caribbean.

We actually left the resort (sometimes we don’t on our trips) and the view above is the downtown area, we went on a snorkelling trip to see the famous circle of friends an underwater sculpture, very cool.

The pic above is one of the suites with their own infinity pool and awesome views.  i have had couples honeymoon right here in these and they raved about it.

As always the grounds/flowers are beautiful to walk around/enjoy

Lots of places to sit, relax and just enjoy, around this really intimate resort

A Butch’s chophouse can be found here (Barbados is great because you can do the chophouse and steakhouse there), and the atmosphere and food is … yuuuum

Always an English Pub at each resort, great for just hanging out

My fave cocktail, banana and chocolate and cream, yeahhhhhhhhhh

Ok, realising it’s now 7 months since i have travelled to the Caribbean due to Coronavirus, I am realising its time to go back, soon Lisa, soon

Ochi Rios – 2 Resorts

So the resort that starts with the least expensive room options of all the Sandals Resorts happens to be in Jamaica and in Ochi Rios.  The hub for cruise ships, Dunns River Falls, town, activities, so how lucky are you.  Above was my last room at the Sandals where i was in a butler villa, attached to another, where we had a lovely pool to share, I never saw the other couple.

Lovely beach/sand/restaurant options and activities at the base of the resort.

If you were 2 couples travelling together where i stayed last trip would be perfect as you just open up the living/lounge area in-between the 2 bedrooms to enjoy but yet you have your own privacy/space as the bedrooms are at each end.

Of course one of the largest signature Sandals Pools would be at this Sandals, its quite the party hardy resort if you want to partake.

You could also have ocean view rooms in the tower next to the ocean and be on that beach very fast every day

On the pic above, those wee huts are massage or private dinner huts!!

Then for the families, or groups or friends (that don’t want to share a bed at Sandals) in Ochi Rios is one of the Beaches Resorts.  Different villages/styles of accommodations to suit your style as always, budget, and size of your group.  My fave is the Greek Village.

2 beaches to enjoy, busy side and quiet side

Looking along one of the rows of Greek Village rooms, it’s 3 levels.  Also the Sesame Street characters are all around to add excitement to the kids vacay, and you adults do get to vacay too, they have kids programs from only a few months old up until late teens, so mom/dad, grandparents, can do some adulting, quiet time, fine dining, spa etc.

Huge pool and water slide action for the kids at Beaches and then back to Sandals where there is a big easy, you go into the Rabbit Hole and must know the password!!

Really pretty lobby area at the upper area of Sandals Ochi.  For those staying at Sandals Ochi, you can catch a cab if you want and head over to Beaches to dine/hang out there, something tells me it won’t take long and you will be back to all the options of what/where/how at Sandals Ochi.

Let me get you there.  Everyone deserves a vacation, honeymoon, or lets do your destination wedding at Beaches, where everyone can attend, then the B&G head to one of the quiet/private butler suites at Sandals Ochi where you never have to leave your suite or even hop on a plane and head to a Sandals Resort on another island!!!
