LA Church & Taglyan wedding

Christine Bentley Photography
Ah, my lovely Gaby and Jeff, when they booked me they were looking at a venue in the OC but not sure, so they kept looking and voila, found their perfect spot up in Los Angeles.
Here is Gaby in the lobby of the W Hotel Hollywood, I have always loved the staircase in the background, it just screams a Hollywood star making her entrance, great photo op!!

This is how they travelled around LA, first to the church, then some pics around Hollywood, then to their fabulous venue.

And here is what took Gaby’s breath away when she saw the venue, the beautiful ceiling/chandeliers and what they do with lighting at Taglyan, the room keeps changing its look, pretty fabulous!!

These table numbers have been very popular this season, but watch out, just as you think they are cute or great, so do the guests, some go missing!!

A sweet sweetheart table for a sweet couple

The grounds are not only great for cocktails, but evening photos also!

Love this pic from this vantage point by our fab photographer on this one, Christine Bentley, thanks for most of the pics here, some are mine.
Here is Gaby walking up the aisle to her groom. Their church was only 3 mins down the road from the venue, very convenient for me!!
The cake was very Gaby, not over the top but elegant, and I loved the topper!
And as a treat for the guests, an ice cream station with some really yummy options to choose from.
A great wedding for a great couple and a great vendor team to boot. The team at Taglyan were great to work with/very easy, Jason Jass was our dj/mcee, Hoo Films did the videography which was very important to them.

Church and Island Hotel celebration
Brian and Rona picked a church in downtown Los Angeles and a hotel in the OC for their wedding reception, so a lot of driving for everyone but worth it, we had a great celebration for this great couple. The churches in LA are so ornate but we enhanced this one a bit more, Rona wanted the outside entrance doors prettied up, and navy was their color so I suggested that we get a custom runner for the church and Brian made that his task and it turned out great.
Then the fabulous looking ballroom at the Island Hotel
We had a martini ice luge, and used it to showcase the blue again. Great job as always, Dan at Carving Ice.
Don’t see caketops that much anymore, I really loved this one.
This cake picture was before the lights were dimmed, further up is the pic as the guests saw the cake/room, quite a bit different!!
Lighting does make the difference.
Details! And my fave napkin fold this season. Rona and Brian were great and trusting of me guiding them to the right vendors for their style and budget. Florals/Elegant by Design, Photo/Tony Florez (thanks for the pics), Design Visage for bridal beauty, Jeff Holmes/Moondance Mobile Music-dj, Shane Productions/video, ALS for transportation, Veronika/belly dancer, Monico Rentals/linens and chiavaris, and my pal TMMPRO for our beautiful dancefloor. Last but not least, Kelly and the team at Island Hotel, awesome to work with, and Miss Kelly folded and placed every napkin in the room this night!!

Hyatt Huntington Beach Intimate wedding
Melody booked Nicole to oversee/orchestrate things on her wedding day. This was a destination wedding and a lovely intimate group of family and close friends who attended. Melody booked us for Month of service but used our preferred vendor list to pull her vendor team together, and when the service officially began, Lisa pulled everything together/double checked everything Melody had organized, created the detailed timeline/order of events and then Nicole ran the celebration on the day.
Dj Steve Burdick and Nicole were a great team, not often we get pics of lovely Lauren with Design Visage but there she is putting finishing touches on our bride, and there is our happy bride, thanks to Joel Austell/photographer for the pictures above, and of course fabulous Heather at Hyatt Huntington Beach for always being so wonderful to work with, xoxoxoxo

Island Hotel wedding
ALL the vendors involved in this wedding wanted only the best for this great couple, we just loved them. They got married in a church where the brides father was okayed to orchestrate the ceremony. Good thing they chose to add on my early at hotel to keep things on time and church assistance option, as there was no church lady present/that we could find, until after the ceremony, so I got everyone up the aisle in place!!!
Then over to the Island Hotel where Teri was overseeing setup/vendors. Teri had done a wedding at Island Hotel not so long ago, but this was my first one for many years, so it was good to be back, the team there is excellent, and a bonus having the wonderful Kelly Odell (previously at St Regis Monarch Beach) there now too.
Our bride and groom were open to my fun things, round dancefloor/decal etc by TMMPRO, and it all turned out fabulous as you can see from the pics provided by Judy & Gavin (our 2nd wedding with them, they are great) and some are mine.
Below you can see same room different color lighting and also only with the hotel lights up, none of them look like the same room right? Huey of Platinum Peaks was the mcee/dj and handled the draping and lighting, he was wonderful to work with
A whimsical placecard piece. The feathers were actually used at the church, no florals, that tells you a lot about our couple and why we loved them so much
Probably the prettiest floral display on a sweetheart table I have ever seen. The colors and flowers were just beautiful. Fab u lous work as always by Elegant by Design/Karla and her team.
Rental linens were by Monico Décor, we all loved our cake linen. Noemi of Post Beauty beautified the ladies, love her.
I got to see Veronika a couple of weeks in a row, she is great.
