I love being a part of the Ritz-Carlton family when it comes to weddings!! This is my 5th Ritz property i have done a wedding at, and in 2020 i will be adding my 6th property, for a bit i thought i may be adding my 7th this year but alas not quite yet!! lol
Amanda and Jordan really lucked out (and they were just the sweetest BTW), when they booked the property was not a Ritz, but during the process it became a Ritz, so they got all the benefits of a 5 star brand but were contracted based on the previous owner/rates etc, yay for them, lol.
So we did the ceremony at the upper site which gives such a great backdrop of the sweeping coastline, pic above
The iconic round room, we did transitioned from outdoor dining/toasts, to the guests gathering around them in the mid area cutting cake and saying their words, then flowed into the dance room where of course we did my fave round dancefloor, Amanda wanted the ceiling draped from the beginning, and lighting all done by my TMMPRO pals.
The balcony with the furniture was off the dancing room and this is where we had the Photobooth. Very popular area for people to hang out at and see in to the dancing room and not feel like they were missing out on anything
Cocktails were on the balcony up by the main building, under where the dinner/dance would be. Still had an ocean view which was lovely.
The team at Ritz-Carlton Santa Barbara were a dream to work with, and now they are headed by my long time hotel friend Fernanda Jaime (started with her at Ritz Laguna and have now been through 3 hotels with her, yayyy), and we had a great vendor team, Duke (obviously the dark pics above are mine not his), Hoos Films for video, and my partners that go with me wherever i go, Design Visage for the ladies hair/makeup, Flowers by Cina, and Peter Pop/Vive Ent for the music in all areas and kept that dancefloor full once we got in that awesome loungy room. xoxoxo
Till next time
